As of year 2021, all cigarettes, tobacco products, smoking pipes (including pipe bowls), electronic cigarettes / similar personal electric vaporising devices are no longer part of Langkawi's duty free items. Langkawi's duty free items consists of liquor, chocolates, perfumes and cosmetics.

Purchase of Alcoholic Beverages

Purchase of any mean of alcoholic beverages must not exceed 1 litre (any of single bottle or combined quantity has to be 1 litre). However, there will be no limitation for miniature bottles of liquors on a reasonable quantity.
